A Great Start for our Members
Round 2, 2004

A great start to the year, as our members enjoyed success in an otherwise difficult round! We correctly tipped the Swans to win by over 15 points in our SILVER report, and while it looked a little shaky in the 3rd quarter, the 31 point final margin was well clear of this range. The majority of our GOLD members also cashed in on the Swans, and ended up getting odds of 13-1 via the spread betting option!
Sydney v Fremantle (Gold Analysis)

We struck GOLD again
Round 3, 2004

We struck GOLD again, with only bad luck the difference in collecting a windfall. Adelaide hit the post 5 times, kicked 8.16.64, and controlled most of the game against Fremantle to go down by 9 points in the end. But as highlighted, the 25 point start was always going to be too generous, and our members collected at juicy odds of 16-1! One can only imagine what the difference could have been had they kicked straight.
Fremantle v Adelaide (Gold Analysis)

In our second game, we predicted that Carlton would have to play at their best levels for 2 ½ years in order for us not to collect……and they did!?! Their score of 106 at the MCG was their highest since their finals series in 2001. Given it was a once in 2 ½ year occurrence; we’ll take it on the chin!
Kangaroos v Carlton (Gold Analysis)

The Round from Hell
Round 4, 2004

Forget about the umpire from hell, Round 4 was officially the weekend from hell! Upsets a plenty meant the average tipster’s score was 3-4. New records were set for the round including:
- The Pies lowest score ever at Telstra Dome and against Fremantle.
- The Pies greatest losing margin against Fremantle
- The Kangaroos lowest score ever at Manuka Oval
- The Kangaroos biggest losing margin at Manuka Oval
- The Saints first win against Adelaide at AAMI Stadium since 1991.
And too many more to publish!

Our special for the round was Adelaide, and it took some pretty straight shooting from the Saints to down the Crows. The Saints booted an amazing 17.3 from their first 20 shots at goal! We correctly predicted Adelaide’s total and Statrating margins for the game, but missed out on predicting that the Saints would kick with a best ever accuracy of 74% against the Crows.
Adelaide v St Kilda (Gold Analysis)

The Dam Buster!
Round 5, 2004

It’s been threatening for a couple of weeks now, and it finally arrived in round 5 – the dam buster! Our GOLD members celebrated well into the night, as our 5 star special Adelaide crushed the Tigers. The spread betting was set at 16 points, and the 75 point final margin ensured our members got a whopping 59-1 odds on the game! Our SILVER members had no worries either as the 10 point line bet was never in doubt.
Richmond v Adelaide (Gold Analysis)

So, so close
Round 6, 2004

We were so, so, close again last week, as fate dealt its fearsome hand! We correctly predicted what the Stats sheet would look like after the game, but didn’t count on the Western Bulldogs' incredible last quarter effort of 7 straight goals, producing a scoreline of 19.6! Is this the same side that kicked 7.22 the week before?
Kangaroos v Western Bulldogs (Gold Analysis)

The Upsets Keep Coming
Round 7, 2004

The upsets just keep on coming, making life hell for football punters! We got away with minor damage last week, thanks largely to the bookies! Our gold members needed a 10 point spread to make it worthwhile on Fremantle last week, but the only offering around the traps was 16 points, which meant no bet was taken. We did collect on our other featured game, with the Bombers 26 point victory surpassing the 23 point head start required
Western Bulldogs v Essendon (Gold Analysis)

Prophetic last words
Round 8, 2004

They certainly were prophetic last words in our report last week which typifies the season so far. Here’s what we said could happen; “Sides that have no form on the road, that haven’t beaten sides for years are suddenly turning the tables. This is another game that looks straight forward, but given the results in previous weeks begs caution. The Crows seem to have the upper hand in every Stat, yet games that fit these criteria have fallen by the wayside in the past few weeks.” The cautious approach did minimize our loss.

Welcome Relief Amid the Upsets
Round 9, 2004

Melbourne's 18 point win against the Kangaroos was a welcome relief amid the upsets that have rocked the AFL season so far. Our Gold members collected 8-1 on this game, and fortunately had to pass up on the Bombers - Geelong game, as 18 points was the best available on the spread when we needed 16.
Melbourne v Kangaroos (Gold Analysis)

Overdue Success
Round 10, 2004

The Bombers win against Fremantle last week finally produced some overdue success, and our members collected accordingly. While the final margin could have been a lot greater, the 30 point win ensured our GOLD members got odds of 9-1 on the game, and put us back into profit
Essendon v Fremantle (Gold Analysis)

Rain, Rain, Rain....
Round 11, 2004

The hopes of a Fremantle win were washed away as the rain tumbled down during the final quarter at Subiaco last week. Memories of their defeat at York Park against Hawthorn and against Richmond at the MCG in similar conditions flooded back as they struggled to keep up with the Demons, after looking safe at ¾ time. In a remarkable twist, Melbourne scored 6.7 to 0.0 in the last quarter (they had kicked 7.8 in the 3 previous quarters!!) to post the highest StatRating by a Victorian team in Subiaco over the past 3 years!!!!! Certainly one for the record books

$$$$ 58-1 $$$$
Round 12, 2004

That’s right, our Gold members collected at odds of 58 -1 after the Brisbane Lions demolished the Bombers at Telstra Dome! Our Silver members collected double stake on the win and also at the line, to send the profit report back in the right direction!
Essendon v Brisbane (Gold Analysis)

Spot On...again
Round 13, 2004

Our analysis on the Swans vs Magpies game was spot on again, with final scores falling within the predicted range! Even though no line bet was recommended, many took advantage of the combined scores total, and final match scores
Sydney v Collingwood (Gold Analysis)

Collect again, this time at odds of 48-1
Round 14, 2004

We produced the goods again for our punters, with another high priced winner at 48-1! Our Silver punters are now back on track, while the Gold members are enjoying close to 80% profit on investment!!! Is this the best value site on the net? Plenty of weekly members think it is, as they take advantage of these enormous odds!
St Kilda v Port Adelaide (Gold Analysis)

History Repeats Again....at odds of 44-1!
Round 15, 2004

It was a case of history repeats, and we took full advantage of it! The Demons crushed the Saints by 57 points, and our GOLD members collected at odds of 44-1!

Our Weekly members have been spoilt in the past 4 weeks, with consecutive results of 58-1, 20-1, 48-1 and now 44-1! We’re expecting even more Weekly subscribers this week, with 2 games for the price of one! Coupled with our Sports Acumen promotion, is there any better deal around.
Melbourne v St Kilda (Gold Analysis)

Get on Board the Footy Raiders
Round 16, 2004:

We’ve been dubbed the "Footy Raiders" by bookmakers after Footyratings.com produced another 27-1 result on last Friday night’s game. Raiders is certainly the appropriate term, as the run stretched to 58-1, 20-1, 48-1, 44-1 and 27-1 in successive bets! Unfortunately the Adelaide Crows let us down on Saturday night, but due to the different

Adelaide v Fremantle (Gold Analysis)

Bookies plead for mercy, after another 57-1 result!
Round 17, 2004

Whilst most punters used the old “sacked coach” theory on the Hawks, our “Raiders” were told differently, and plunged on the Kangaroos! Our decision to include the game for free as part of the newsletter meant a deluge of money hit the bookies as they pleaded for mercy. We’re yet to find a site on the internet that has given this sort of information – FOR FREE!

Kangaroos v Hawthorn (Gold Analysis)

AFL round of upsets…..and we predicted them!
Round 18, 2004:
That’s right, while most punters were shaking their heads in disbelief at last weekends results, our “raiders” were lining up to collect at juicy odds of 58 – 1, and 51 – 1! Our profit sheets are at record levels!
Essendon v Port Adelaide (Gold Analysis)
Sydney v Brisbane (Gold Analysis)

Another round of upsets and we still colleceted at 60-1!!!
Round 19, 2004
That’s right, while most other punters were left licking their wounds, our members were given just one game to plunge on, and Port's massive win over Melbourne ensured we collected at 60-1!

Port Adelaide v Melbourne (Gold Analysis)

Bombers romp home at 26-1!
Round 20, 2004
The rain may have dampened the confidence slightly, but it didn’t stop our members collecting at 26-1 on the Bombers. A nine goal first quarter blast by Essendon signaled another winning bet for our "Raiders"

Essendon v Collingwood (Gold Analysis)

Sydney Swans spot on, Roos let us down
Round 21, 2004
We correctly predicted the scores from the Sydney – Essendon game, but the Roos let us down in their match against the Bulldogs. Our predicted Statrating figures were on the mark in that game, but the scoreboard wasn’t!

Western Bulldogs v Kangaroos (Gold Analysis)
Sydney v Essendon (Gold Analysis)

Port delivers, while Bombers lose plot
Round 22, 2004
Port Adelaide’s win against Adelaide enabled a win for both Silver and Gold members last week, while the Bombers could have also extended their winning margin had they not tried to focus on Lloyd winning the Coleman Medal!!!
Adelaide v Port Adelaide (Gold Analysis)
Essendon v Western Bulldogs (Gold Analysis)

Qualifying Finals
Lions Unstoppable
The Brisbane Lions proved just why they are the “Goliath” last week, as they demolished an inexperienced Stkilda. Their 80 point win was far and above what we expected, and showed just how far above the rest of the sides they are. The Port Adelaide – Geelong game did progress as expected, but some ambiguity stopped us from placing any bets
Brisbane v St Kilda (Gold Analysis)
Port Adelaide v Geelong

Semi Finals
Saints Too Strong
The Saints proved too strong last week, with Sydney suffering from some key injuries during the game. With 2 of their 4 midfielders on the sidelines at half time, it made it difficult for the Swans in the second half.

St Kilda v Sydney (Gold Analysis)

Preliminary Final
Back with a bang at odds of 19-1
We struck back with a spot on prediction of the Brisbane – Geelong match. Our Analysis highlighted the fact that it would be a close game, and our GOLD and SILVER members lined their pockets with more Profits.

Brisbane v Geelong (Gold Analysis)

Grand Final
Grand Final Bonus of 54-1

While we expected Port Adelaide to be very competitive in the Grand Final, we certainly didn’t expect the 54-1 result that came our way! Our GOLD members finished off the year on a high, and our SILVER members, which took the 14 point head start, were never in any danger of losing
